MOVIE GUIDE A UNITED KINGDOM - A United Kingdom is the true story of the forbidden love of King Seretse Khama of Botswana (David Oyelowo) and Ruth Williams (Rosamund Pike), a white woman from London, which caused an international uproar when they decided to marry in the late 1940s just as apartheid was being introduced into South Africa. It was a decision that altered the course of African history. BEFORE I FALL - A popular, selfish high schooler (Zoey Deutch) keeps reliving the same day over and over again, which ends with her and her friends getting into a fatal car accident. In time, she must learn how to prevent the accident while becoming a better, kinder person to those around her. ELLE - Michèle seems indestructible. Head of a successful video game company, she brings the same ruthless attitude to her love life as to business. Being attacked in her home by an unknown assailant changes Michèle's life forever. When she resolutely tracks the man down, they are both drawn into a curious and thrilling game-a game that may, at any moment, spiral out of control. FIFTY SHADES DARKER - This sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey adapts the second installment in E.L. James' best-selling trilogy of novels, which chronicle the torrid love affair between the demure Anatasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and possessive businessman Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). This time around, Steele and Grey's attempts to build a more trusting relationship are threatened by several of his past lovers. FIST FIGHT - On the last day before summer vacation at a rough-and-tumble high school, mild-mannered teacher Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) accidentally causes his fearsome colleague Ron Strickland (Ice Cube) to be fired. When Strickland then challenges him to a fist fight after school, Campbell must find a way to avoid a vicious beating. THE FOUNDER - Robert D. Siegel (former editor-in-chief of The Onion) tackles the McDonald's origin story in this whip-smart parable. Michael Keaton stars as Ray Kroc, a struggling Illinois salesman, who meets the McDonald brothers and is inspired by the ingenious way they run their kitchen. GET OUT - A young African-American photographer (Daniel Kaluuya) is nervous at the thought of meeting his white girlfriend's parents (Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford) for the first time during a trip to the latter's country estate. However, his anxiety soon turns into outright terror when he discovers that the family's seemingly idyllic community is hiding a sinister conspiracy, one that involves the disappearance of several black people in the area. Jordan Peele, one half of the comedic duo Key & Peele, makes his directorial debut with this horror thriller. I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO - Writer James Baldwin tells the story of race in modern America with his unfinished novel, "Remember This House." Using only the writer's original words, director Raoul Peck envisions the book James Baldwin never finished -- a radical narration about race in America through the lives and assassinations of three of his friends: Martin Luther King Jr., Medgar Evers and Malcolm X. JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 - Legendary assassin John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is once again called out of retirement by a former colleague to repay a debt in Rome. But when the hitman's plans go awry, Wick finds himself hunted by a ruthless crime boss (Laurence Fishburne) and his international arsenal of killers eager to collect the massive bounty on his head. KONG: SKULL ISLAND - A secret government organization mounts an expedition to Skull Island, an uncharted territory in the Pacific. Led by an explorer (John Goodman) and a lieutenant colonel (Samuel L. Jackson), the group recruit a disillusioned soldier (Tom Hiddleston) and a photojournalist (Brie Larson) to investigate the island's peculiar seismic activity. But once there, they discover that Skull Island is home to a gigantic ape called King Kong, and find themselves caught up in an ongoing war between the beast and the area's indigenous predators. THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE - In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure: “The LEGO® Batman Movie.” LOGAN - In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces. ROCK DOG - To avoid distractions, Mastiff leader Khampa forbids all music from the mountain. But when Khampa's son Bodi discovers a radio, it takes just a few guitar licks for his fate to be sealed: Bodi wants to be a rock 'n' roll star. THE SHACK - Divine intervention draws a grieving father (Sam Worthington) to a shack in the woods, where he learns the truth behind the tragic death of his young daughter in this adaptation of the best-selling faith-based novel. TABLE 19 - Ex-maid of honor Eloise (Anna Kendrick) - having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text - decides to hold her head up high and attend her oldest friend's wedding anyway.

•Al Q: Does Volume 4 have an illustration with Al’s real face? A: Of course it doesn’t, silly! Q: Will Al’s real face be revealed at some point in the future? A: I don’t want to say it, but when a masked character doesn’t remove their mask, it means something, right? Q: Al’s fingers are rather thin, long, indoor-type fingers, it seems. Is this too something that’s foreshadowing his real identity? A: I think that artists probably dislike requests for character designs that go so far as to include how fat their fingers are. Q: Around which arc will Al’s real name be made clear? A: You already know he’s called Aldebaran, don’t ya? ( note: I suspect you meant to ask if he has a surname.) Q: Why isn’t ‘Al’ written ‘Aldebaran’ in the book? A: Hey you, it’s because he hasn’t given his name yet. It would be lame if the instructions for Fate has the real names written, right? (Note: Guessing that ‘Fate’ here refers to the Fate games.) Q: Is it true that, in the book, Aldebaran went by Al and didn’t give his real name at first to cut down on the number of letters? A: Actually, Al has never introduced himself with his full name. I won’t deny that it did cut down on the number of letters, though. Q: Al must have been born in 1990 or later, wasn’t he? He knows about Hypertime, and he was summoned in his late teens. A: It’s not entirely impossible that he was born much later, and decided to study the beginning of the Heisei period. Actually, I guess it hasn’t really been decided. I don’t even know what year Subaru was born. Q: How did Aldebaran do at the big event that Priscilla held? A: He was in the best four out of an event with around fifty people. Q: If Al had been a woman, it would have been shocking… no way!! A: Calm down, and take a look at volume four. Calm down, breathe deeply, look at reality…! Q: When Priscilla barged into the daisukiyaki party, how did Al feel looking at the daisukiyaki? Was he looking around for that white something? A: He’s eaten daisukiyaki before, most likely. It’s really not the first time he’d seen it. (Note: daisukiyaki seems to be a food of some sort in the Re: Zero setting; maybe similar to the Japanese food okonomiyaki.) Q: Al has denied it when he was called a knight, but was that perhaps to avoid drawing the ire of the royal guard? A: No, it’s because he absolutely hates knights. Q: Are there plans to write a side chapter for Al-san???? A: There’s really big plans. Really big plans, and I think everyone’s going to be surprised. •Schult (Priscilla shota Butler) Q: Did Priscilla-san train the boy butler at her house? A: She didn’t train him, but she did teach him to be obedient. Q: Who does the cleaning at Priscilla’s residence? If Schult is doing it, he’ll die early from overwork... A: It’s done by Schult-kun, along with the maids (not young women) who dote on him. •Anatasia Q: Does Ana-san have any aliases? A: Black Fox, Greedy Princess, Iron Plate Magistrate Q: Does Anastasia-san have any friends that aren’t business partners? A: There might be some, but we probably won’t see them. Q: How much would it cost to get Anastasia-san to go on a date with me? A: She might charge by the hour… at the going market rate, no less. Q: It looks to me like Ana-san’s fighting strength is a bit lacking, but is that right? A: Her personal fighting strength might look that way, but when you look at the number of people who can fight for her, she’s got a mercenary company, so if she throws them at the enemy first, they can cause a lot of trouble. Q: Anastasia “You making money~?” A: “A little bit~!” This is the usual greeting in Kararagi Q: The Kansai accent that Ana-san uses, is that Osaka, Kyoto, or Kobe? A: It’s a fake Kansai accent. That’s a spoiler, too. Q: If I gave Anastasia a rice ball, how would she react? A: She’d be super-happy, she could squeeze it into a rice cylinder. Q: If I was to make okonomiyaki for Anastasia, how would she react? Of course, not everyone from the Kansai area likes okonomiyaki, but somehow I think she would. A: Anastasia probably knows how to make it better than you do, so she’d probably say “You’re doing it all wrong! Hand that over! Here, this is how you make the real thing!”, and then she’d hand you a half-burned one. Q: If I fed Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki to Ana-san, how would she react? A: You’d get told “This is different from our daisukiyaki, you kabachitare!” (Note: ‘kabachitare’ may be a made-up word used in a manga and tv show of the same name, but I’m not really sure.) Q: Anastasia-san ate that charred black food like it was delicious, but does everyone from Kararagi enjoy that flavor? Also, what do Julius and Joshua think of that black daisukiyaki’s flavor? A: Anastasia-san is really bad at cooking. Q: Can everyone in the beastman mercenary company eat Anastasia-san’s charred daisukiyaki just fine? If they’re fine with it, then it looks suspiciously like Kararagi folks all have bad taste in food... A: I think everyone dislikes the taste of burnt food. It’s not good to look down on everyone just because of the rumors about one person. Q: If Anastasia-san was managing a restaurant, how would that turn out? A: As long as she’s not in charge of the cooking, it’d be fine. If she was, it would be a problem for the public health center. Q: It seems likely that Julius will get cancer in the future from eating all that burnt food; will his health be alright? A: It’s not like he’s eating food Anastasia made every meal, so he’ll be fine. Q: Does Anastasia-san’s business handle food, too? If it does, and Anastasia-san added her own favorites into the products, it would be a terrible blow… If it’s uncooked, maybe it’s alright? A: Of course, fresh food sales are handled by farmers and fishermen. Anastasia doesn’t have time to be involved with the product quality. Q: There’s a story about Anastasia and Subaru working together, but it seems strange. First of all, how is the compatibility between those two? A: It’s not very good. Anastasia doesn’t trust people who are all talk. For the Anastasia route, the first step to success would be earning her trust. Getting along with the mercenary company would actually be fairly easy, I think. Q: If Subaru made a sales pitch for mayonnaise to Ana-san, how would that work out? A: He’d be turned into a duck……! Q: Would Anastasia-san find a way to put even a bad debt like Subaru to work for her, instead of just abandoning him? A: Even someone who’s a real bad debt and not worth crap, it’s just a matter of placing them somewhere that even someone who’s not worth crap can be useful. If they really, really do nothing but get in the way, the dog-faced guy next to her is overprotective, so he’ll dispose of the problem. Q: Anastasia-san has a reputation for never missing the scent of profit, but in her eyes, how good is Otto’s power as a merchant? A: I think that would be about like Freeza-sama looking at Kyui. (Note: Referencing Dragonball characters here; basically Otto is way, way, way below Anastasia’s level) Q: To Anastasia-san’s point of view, how good it Russell-san’s merchant warfare strength? About like Freeza looking at Kyui? A: Why are you downgrading him? He’s like Goku-sa fighting normally on Namek, I think. Q: Anastasia-san speaks with fur, but hasn’t she ever been unexpectedly overheard by the people around her, and looked at suspiciously? A: ?? Was there a scene like that? (Note: I’m not sure, but ‘fur’ here may be referring to part of her outfit.) Q: Sensei, are you a backer of the Anastasia-tan in Anastasia-tan? I’m a backer of Anastasia-tan. A: This is getting bothersome, I’m going to block the next. (Note: Really not sure what 推し means, but guessing it’s something like backer or supporter.) Q: Setting aside Julius himself, how has it been for Julius’ family to support a foreigner like Anastasia? Haven’t there been any repercussions? A: Oh, there were. Look forward to when it’s Julius’ turn. Q&A pastebin
2016.09.19 23:17 ReedHAYMy adventures with Re:Zero. The ongoing saga.
I finally got around to watching Re:Zero and am currently watching Episode 1 right now. I figure I'll update this post as I watch through it and give my initial reactions. I did the same thing with Kill la kill a while back. Not that anyone would care, I just thought this would be fun if anyone wants to tune in and check for updates as I watch this series. :P First half of Episode 1: The man character Subaru is WAAAAAY too ok with the idea of suddenly getting transported to a completely different world...like come on now. I would be panicking! Whats that? What are those? The hell is that thing! He is just perfectly fine with all this! Also holy shit when they helped that little girl with green hair my heart melted. SO GODDAMN CUTE <3 The half-elf girl Satella is also quite the cutie. EDIT 1: Second half of Episode 1: Holy shit! Did Subaru just respawn like in a video game? The hell? He doesn't even know it! Rom just ate all of Subaru's corn snacks! RUDE. Felt is also really cute! Ha, Subaru's cell phone idea was smart. He reminds me a lot of what I would probably do if I was in his position(well except I would probably panic A LOT more at the start)...SUBARU DON'T TRUST HER THATS TOTALLY THE WOMAN THAT KILLED YOU....uh oh...maybe you shouldn't have said that Subaru. OH MY SHITS GOING DOWN DAMN. Wow. Dude still doesn't get it. Subaru could make all these references to video games earlier but now he doesn't even understand he is respawning!...somehow EDIT 2: Just finished Episode 2. First off I wanna say I'm already loving this anime. BUT DEAR SWEET CHRIST WHAT IS HAPPENING. Also TIMEMU LEAP. Knight dude outta nowhere saving the day! ...Damn Elsa is scary ._. ...Also I'm really liking Felt cute and sassy is my weakness.(Nonon was my fave in KLK and Felt is very similar in personality) EDIT 3: Just finished Episode 3. GODDAMN IT CAT SPIRIT THING DON'T GO TO SLEEP NOW. D: wait Felt is only 15? <.< >.> ....doesn't matter fantasy anime land. Reinhard to the rescue again! :D Nice job kicking Elsa's ass dude but come on Reinheard being a dick right at the end >.> ...wait so he took Felt, and Emilia(new name!) took Subaru...so what did they all just leave poor old man Rom out in the cold? xD I think I'm gonna stop here for the night though. I'll be watching more tomorrow so stay tuned :P EDIT 4: And I'm back! Just started Episode 4, what a nice house OO but damn Betty means serious business .. ...oh great an eccentric clown @[email protected] I love how useless Subaru is, reminds me of myself...where is my star role in an anime? >.> ...I don't like how Mr.Clown is petting Ram, its creeping me out. D: oh no. Hes gone back again! Poor Subaru :c losing all the progress he made. EDIT 5: Just started Episode 5. So wait...Betty remembers Subaru but no one else does? Whaaaat. Does she remember him or not its a bit confusing. Wait I'm a dumb, its cause his reset point is after she sucked out all his mana. Also clown dick pls no. I'm liking Ram so far, shes this strange mix of nice but stern. Ok Subaru needs to stop stealing my personality traits. Being good with kids and animals is MY thing! >.> even if I never asked for it. Oooo I like Rem too. <3 JUST LOOK AT THIS SMILE! I want to protect it <3 Oh the way Subaru got super nervous when Emilia helped him with his studies xD but that ending o_o jeez. I read some forums from when this episode came out and everyone was all like "It must be the dog bite!" or "Could it be food poisoning?" Im like...what? FOOD POISONING DOESN'T RIP YOU IN HALF AND EXPLODE YOUR HEAD. This does confirm tho I've been watching the censored version so I gotta find where I can get the uncensored versions. Apparently thats not out yet, so I don't feel too bad since we all got the censored version. By the time Season 2 comes out(I'm assuming there will be one) I'll be ready for a rewatch and I'll watch the uncensored then. EDIT 6: So Episode 6 now. Smart of Subaru to ask to be a guest and not an employee this time around so he'll have more time to investigate. Although he is always super cringey when around Emilia xD So it was Betty who saved Subaru? Maybe he should be nicer to her now on! Ram is kinda harsh this episode but I still love her....wait...WHAT. WHAAAAAAT. HOLY FUCKING SHIT WHAT. REM. WHAT. WHY. YOU SMILED AND EVERYTHING IN THE LAST LIFE TOO. WHY. EDIT 7: So Episode 7. Why exactly can't Subaru tell anyone he has this ability? He tried to tell Emilia but then creepy evil hand showed up. I don't understand the correlation. Wait so this has to do with the Witch, Rem did say last episode he smelt like the Witch and now Betty says he smells like the Witch again. But didn't Emilia tell Subaru to call her by the Witch's name in the first timeline/life? Hmmm. Oh shit...Rem? She died like Subaru did the 4th time. WHATS GOING ON. Damn Subaru...you've grown a backbone...well had but then you went splat. EDIT 8: Episode 8. Cool stuff about gates and how magic works. I wonder if Subaru's element being shadow has anything to do with anything. Aww the lap thing, Subaru is one lucky guy <3 overall though a more quiet episode. EDIT 9: Episode 9. That dog has to have something to do with this, I feel it. Also Mr.Clown never left before o_o this is new...HE CAN FLY?! Woah. HA I KNEW IT! IT WAS THE DOG. That promise between Rem and Subaru was really sweet. I wonder if this is where they'll start to warm up to one another. REM NO D: REM IS A DEMON! O_O WOOOOAH NO BAD EPISODE! DON'T END LIKE THIS D: DON'T YOU DIE SUBARU. EDIT 10: Episode 10. YES HE SURVIVED! :D Glad to see the likes of Ram and maybe Beatrice slowly being less...cold to him. Oh Ram is hornless.(I feel like there is a sexual joke to be had here) ...nevermind Ram is still cold...now not as much. Ooooh so there is some backstory as to why she doesn't have a horn. I wanna know more! Oooh Subaru bait I like it. OH SHIT REM WHAT ARE YOU DOING. Oh no what happened ._. EDIT 11: Episode 11. Oooh opening up with some backstory on Rem and Ram, I like it. 2016.02.06 15:31 ReidmillHow do you think Bernie will fare in Nevada and South Carolina?
I'm growing increasingly worried about Bernie's prospects in the South and other states with large minority voting blocks like Nevada. Perhaps my concerns are being exacerbated by the constant media spin concerning Hillary's "Southern firewall," but this talking point exists for a reason. Polling data clearly shows that Clinton has a sizable advantage when it comes to minority voting blocks. It's quite sobering, really... Let's take a look at the next state in our line-up, Nevada: According to RCP's polling average, Bernie is behind by 19.5 points. Now I'll admit, nearly all of the polling done in Nevada, so far, has been done by Gravis Marketing. Gravis has a reputation for being a notoriously bad pollster, but there is a CNN/ORC poll (A- rating from 538) that shows Bernie 16 points behind. Not insurmountable, but certainly troubling for our old friend Bernie. On to our most difficult state, South Carolina: According to the RCP aggregate Hillary has a 29.5 lead over Sanders. Holy shit people, that's freaking HUGE! I don't believe we're going to win here, but we need to bring that advantage down to low single digits fast. According to a recent CBS/YouGov poll Bernie only has support among 22% of African American Democrats. Hillary has, 76% support... Whats even more troubling is that the Clinton campaign is dispatching 170 African American women leaders to campaign for her in South Carolina. Here's a sobering list of the women she is dispatching to the important primary state:

LET'S WIN THIS NOMINATION PEOPLE!
